2. Are blogs useless for local SEO?

Definitely not.

So many businesses are not thinking about site architecture and content silos. When you set up your site structure and internal linking the right way, your blog becomes a valuable addition of supporting content for your primary services.

Scroll through this carousel to learn how to set up your site structure and internal linking so AI crawlers can understand your business 👇️

Find the carousel on LinkedIn.

Google only lets you add seven specific social sites through the NMX, and Snapchat is not one of them, but rogue social links can sometimes show up.

They’re still crawling the web and associating social profiles automatically. I’ve seen Snapchat, SoundCloud, Tumblr, and a few others I didn’t even expect to see, like Healthgrades.

The surprising thing about this case is that the business doesn’t even link to their Snapchat on their website or in their sameAs schema code. Interesting that Google was still able to pick this up.

You can’t just add any link you want to your Profile. But apparently, Google can, and sometimes it will.

I shared my theory about why this happens in the Facebook comments.
