Getting your Google Business Profile suspended really sucks 😡

I recently went through the Google Business Profile reinstatement appeal process for Whitespark’s own listing, and I learned a lot along the way.

The appeal itself doesn’t actually take that long. The hard part is everything you need to do BEFORE you submit it.

Here’s a quick overview of the process:

  • Step 1: Figure out why your Profile was suspended

  • Step 2: Fix all Profile violations

  • Step 3: Gather your documentation and evidence

  • Step 4: Submit the reinstatement appeal form

  • Step 5: Wait ~5 days (sometimes longer) for Google to review it

  • Step 6: If the first appeal is denied, submit the additional appeal form

  • Step 7: If the second appeal is also denied, ask for help in the Google Business Profile Help Forum
